Shirley Hawkes

Craft, Design & Textile

Born and raised in Montreal, graduated from Fashion Arts Academy for women’s fashion and learned pattern making. While in Montreal I did One of a Kind Christmas shows, Lived in Atlanta Ga. For 5 years and did various craft shows there. Returned to Brantford and did One of a Kind in Toronto and Chicago. I pick up articles from yard sales and auctions and with the help of glue, nails, sandpaper and paint, I create these decorative articles.
