Handmade, wheel thrown, functional pottery with a nature inspired palate.
Striving to study, practise and respect art on a part time basis, I took courses in a variety of media throughout my formative and professional years. Ceramics became a greater focus for me within the past several years when I attended the Haliburton School of Art for the Ceramic Certificate program as well as many summer courses. Mohawk College, Dundas Valley School of Art and the Brantford Potters' Guild have also provided many fine learning opportunities for me along the way. Currently, I am involved in a Ceramics Mentorship group, I am a member of the Brant Studio Art Tour Group, Kindred Spirits, and I am studying Art History.
I have a home studio in Paris, Ontario where I create items for sale at various exhibitions and market events. My aim is to create functional pottery that enhances everyday moments.
