Fabric Art, Quilting and Chain Maille
I started sewing at a young age. By high school I was making clothes. When I went to college I needed something more portable. I started stitching embroidery designs as a way to pass time on the long train rides to and from school. In 2010, I was helping to finish embroidering panels for a quilt. This led to my introduction to quilting. I have had great instructors and taken many courses to learn new techniques. I am now creating table runners. Fashionable, easy care and reversible. I love adding a pop of colour to my table. About 7 years ago my son introduced me to chain maille. I have enjoyed working with him as he passes his knowledge and skill to me. I love the range of colour and jewellery making has become really fun. I love learning. It's all part of life's journey.
