Handmade beaded bracelets and necklaces; Christmas décor
My name is Sheila and my earliest recollection of crafting was at the age of five when my mom taught me how to knit. I have loved doing artwork in some form for most of my life, the majority of it has always been knitting and then I learned how to do to beadwork. I also really enjoy doing a lot of Christmas decor using old sleds and snowshoes and other antique objects. Like most artists I find I am most at peace either creating or planning a project. As a second career, I studied interior decorating, and my husband and I have always enjoyed renovating houses. The love and enjoyment I experience always has to do with colour. Whether I'm painting a room or creating jewellery!
I'm always thankful that my mom shared her love of creating with me and I often fondly remember her most when I am doing the same.
